What?

What?
EduCamps are mini-conferences where educators and others such as industry partners or students from IHL come and share their projects, ideas and findings; and to ponder what's next in the use of ICT in the near future.
It takes place in an informal setting, where like-minded professionals like you could bring to the table topics that you are passionate about to share, or discuss. Alternatively, we could also 'hang around' to hear ideas from others :)
This event adopts the format of an 'un-conference', which is quite popular amongst the learning communities out there.

How?

How?
Attendees can choose to present ideas that they have in an informal setting. Slides are not necessary, as long as the idea is conveyed.
If not, simply sit in the session and listen to what others have to say. You may contribute ideas, ask questions or even share alternative view points to extend the ideas!

Objectives

EduCamp is a platform where educators with different backgrounds meet and cross-pollinate ideas.
  • We hope to encourage fellow educators and students to exchange ideas and share practices with like-minded and passionate individuals.
  • We would also like hear from fellow educators who have experimented ideas that we can bring back to our own classrooms.
  • Through sharing, we would love to hear feedback and suggestions that we could sharpen our practices, too!
We believe that...
  • No idea is too small to be shared or tested out!
  • Sharing needs not always be structured and carried out in a formal setting.
  • Interaction is the best way to propagate great ideas and practices.
